Strengthening Ecosystem for Assistive Technology

Abstract

This report reflects on some of the initiatives undertaken by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to contribute to strengthen the ecosystem of assistive technology (AT) by promoting innovation, building partnerships, and prioritizing user-centered design. The ICRC focused on strengthening national rehabilitation systems, involving end-users in product development, and fostering an environment for sustainable provision of AT.
