Prof V K Srivastava EFI Oration

 

About EFI Oration

Epidemiology Foundation of India, Ist National Annual Conference with the theme “Evidence-Based Public Health (EBPH)” was organized from 18th– 20th December 2020 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rishikesh. The first EFI Oration was delivered by Prof. Ravi Kant, Director & CEO, AIIMS Rishikesh.

Second National Annual Conference of Epidemiology Foundation of India with the theme “Transforming Global Health by Integrating Medical, Social and Behavioral Interventions” was organized from 29th-30th October 2021 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur in which EFI Oration was delivered by Prof. Sanjeev Misra, Director & CEO, AIIMS Jodhpur.

The EFI Oration has been renamed as Prof V K Srivastava EFI Oration.

The award and its periodicity

The Prof V K Srivastava EFI Oration is to be given each year to Director / Principal / Any member of the organising committee of the host organizing institute of National Annual Conference of Epidemiology Foundation of India.

Nature of the Oration

  1. Citation and a Gold Medal within Rs 5,000/-.
  2. The oration shall be given in the Annual National Conference of EFI.
  3. The Orator will deliver an Oration at the EFI Annual National / Scientific Conference.

The day and time will be decided by the Organizing Secretary of the EFI Annual National/ Scientific Conference of that year.
